It's summer, and yesterday was 106F in Dallas. So, while I was there I got an extra-tight #00000 USMC style flattop...yep, the sides and back are completely bare. Feels GREAT, too. A little sweat and the slightest breeze, and it just feels wonderful. I just need to get it tanned, and in the process avoid a sunburn. THIS is a haircut for summer!
Anyway.
This morning I got up and already had unsightly stubble, so out came the Norelco. Cleaned it up. And you know what? It's very nearly blade smooth, on a single pass! Works great! And, unlike when I first used the rotary on my face, I have no razor burn or bumps.
Anyone else have some tips for those of us who embrace the bare scalp? With this heat, I may not have hair on my head for a few more months! Heck, I may keep it this short for winter, too! :)
